Here is a typical example of the French "frilosity" in the field of the motorcycle industry (and as in almost all the fields, moreover).
This bike was (too much) in advance of the time.
A 2-stroke with fuel-injection, one works there always nowadays.
For dark reasons of profitability (as usual), this project fell through.
This system of injection has been tested on only ten 350 and then, the project was purely and simply sent to the "oubliettes" thereafter… leaving the care to Japanese and Italian to polish the system a few 25 years later!
