Dominique Bourdeau's T-BIRD SPORT |
Olivier Brillion's T-BIRDThe suspensions are disastrous, no adjustement enough, a WP is necessary ! Road-holding, it's hard, so its good ! You better shouldn't be too tall (height of seat). The engine ! WONDERFUL ! With Dynojet, K&N and the special exhaust it's a pleasure, a magic sound... The maintenance is a bit expensive, but it's worth a try. No big troubles for the moment (20.000 km). It seems that some should have gear box problems, a defect assumed for half by Triumph out of garanty. It costs even so 6.000 Francs... For the moment, its OK. Globaly, with these words, the 900 T-BIRD is a bike a bit heavy with much character but avoid a long travel... For more informations, contact me : webmaster@tardmo.com |
LEGEND TTRecipe :Take a Triumph Legend (not expensive) Install a sport handlebar (150 F) Put 2 T 140 special exhausts (800 F) Put a Lucas T 140 tail light (200 F) And it gives you a bike with a sympathtic look and an apocalyptic sound ! For more informations : HPhili3014@aol.com |

La 850 XS SG de Bob Humhrey (Philadelphia)Hi, This is my 1980 Yamaha XS850SG with 30k miles bought it for $1000.00 USD. The person i bought it from was the original owner. It had 15K, years ago when i bought it. It was garage kept in a heated garage cleaned the carbs re did the fuses. I added a set of Jardine slip ons a 3 into 1 air filter. The only problem i have ever had with the bike was a sheared lay shaft bolt other than that i just get on and ride. I bought TKats fork brace but have not had time to put it on. Here,s his web site he will make them up if he has enough interest, www.tkat.com .Cost around $80.00 USD.Thanks Bob Humphrey Philadelphia, Pa. Suburbs |
